Hyaluronic Acid is a skin-own humectant and filling substance, synthesized by epidermal keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts. It plays a crucial role in skin hydration and volume. Natural levels of Hyaluronic Acid decrease with age leading to the formation and deepening of wrinkles. Two key benefits are:
- Wrinkle Reduction: High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~2,000 kDa) binds and retains high amounts of water, keeping the skin firm and well moisturized. This helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles in the upper skin layers.
- Deep Skin Rejuvenation: Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~52 kDa) penetrates deeper into the epidermis, stimulating skin’s own hyaluronan synthesis and promoting cell proliferation.

How do I know if Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler + Volume-Lift is the right anti-aging range for me?
The Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler + Volume-Lift range has been specially formulated to plump up deep wrinkles and redefine facial contours for a lifting effect. While our skin is as individual as we are, and skin ages differently depending on our genetics and lifestyle, these are often primary skin aging concerns for women between 40 and 50.
If your skin is starting to show the first signs of aging (fine lines and wrinkles normally appear around the age of 30), try the Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler range which plumps up even the deepest wrinkles for a rejuvenated look. If skin elasticity and deepening wrinkles are your primary concern (as is often the case for women 50+) then we recommend the Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler + Elasticity range.

At what age should I start using Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler + Volume-Lift?
Our skin is as different as we are, so the answer to that question varies from person to person and depends on many factors both internal (such as our genetics) and external (such as the amount of sun our skin has been exposed to). As a general rule, a loss of volume and firmness − which leads to less defined facial contours and visible changes in facial features − tends to become a concern between the ages of 40 and 50. Why does Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler + Volume-Lift Day SPF 15 contain UVA and UVB protection?
Facial skin is more sensitive to UVA/UVB radiation than skin on the rest of the body as it is exposed to sun all year round. UV protection can help you avoid cellular DNA damage, photoaging (premature skin aging caused by the sun) and hyperpigmentation. It is important to protect facial skin whenever it is exposed to the sun. So our formula has SPF 15 and a UVA filter built-in.
If you’re looking for additional sun protection, follow your Eucerin day care product with Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF 50 or SPF 30. The formula includes Eucerin’s Advanced Spectral Technology which combines broadband and photostable UVA/UVB filters1 for high UV protection with Licochalcone A to neutralize free radicals caused by UV and high-energy visible (HEVIS) light. The sunscreen also includes Glycyrrhetinic Acid which supports skin’s own DNA repair mechanism and Hyaluronic Acid to visibly reduce wrinkles.
